Personal Water Filter Straw

A filter straw needs no power, no pump and no batteries: you drink through it directly from a cup or a container, or use the extension hose. It is a light backup to keep in an outage kit or a car, next to the stored water every household should have. Key features • No electricity or batteries needed • About 8.7 in long and 1.3 in wide • Includes an 8 in extension hose and an 18 in lanyard • Caps on both ends to keep it clean Good to know • The maker does not publish a lab filtration rating, so we do not claim one • It does not replace stored water: official guidance is to keep at least one gallon per person per day for several days • When local authorities issue a boil-water notice, follow their instructions
